Crowthorne Summer Activities is back! Save the dates and pre-register now

We are delighted to announce the dates for 2025 Crowthore Summer Activities brought to you by the Churches in Crowthorne.

There will be free, fun activities for children on the Morgan Recreation Ground, Crowthorne with all your favourite activities: climbing wall, obstacle course, craft activities, outdoor games plus stories and songs for the little ones. This year we have booked a new activity and we can’t wait to see what you think!

Put the dates in your diary now: Fridays, 3-5pm 25th July, 1 August, 8 August, 15 August and help us know that you are coming by pre-registering on our special page Crowthorne Summer Activities.

A big thank you to our funders who enable us to provide these activities for the Community free of charge: Crowthorne Parish Council, Wokingham Without Parish Council, Vineyard25 church, an anonymous donor and Churches Together in Crowthorne.

O we nearly forgot: and there will be pizza!

Sing your favourite Carols this Christmas!

The Churches in Crowthorne love to sing Christmas Carols and invite you to join in with all your favourite Christmas Carols!

We’ll be outside the Baptist Church / Jim Finnie Square at Late Night Christmas Shopping (5:15pm and 6:45pm) on Friday 6th December and back again on Saturday 21st December 10-11am. We will also be out on the evening of Friday 20th December – 6:30pm in the Prince and then 8pm at the Crowthorne Inn.

Churches Together Crowthorne Poster advertising christmas Activities for Late Night Shopping 2024

There’ll be fun for all ages – musical entertainment from Breakaway Brass, Carol Singers, live music as well as all your favourite traders, shops, street food and charity stalls. All under the watchful gaze of the CTC Christmas Lights!

Come join us to celebrate CHRIST this Christmas.

Join us at 5:15pm and 6:45pm to sing your favourite Christmas Carols with Breakaway Brass, the Choir of St James Finchampstead and other singers from our local churches.

Crowthorne Summer Activities – Register Now!

Join us for four fun free Fridays on the Morgan Rec Ground Crowthorne, starting Fri 26 Jul from 3-5pm.

Each week we have a different range of activities for all ages including bouncy castle, climbing wall, crafts, garden games, bible stories, and much more. If you stay to the end there is even a slice of pizza before you go home!

As in 2023, we have provided a “Pre-Registration” link to streamline the booking-in stage so kids can get on the activities faster at the start of the afternoon. (It also really helps our wonderful volunteers too!). Please complete a separate registration entry for each child attending.

Don’t worry if the link is unavailable, you can still register your child on the day from 3pm

Captain Noah and his floating Zoo Sunday 9th June

Join us for a fun performance of “Captain Noah and his floating Zoo”, a lively musical telling the story of Noah and his floating Zoo!

Singers drawn from the churches in Crowthorne and Sandhurst invite you to join them for a fun Sunday evening at St John the Baptist Church, Crowthorne, 6pm, Sunday 9th June.

PS Due to the SGN Works, parking near the church is severely limited. Please park in the Heath Hill Road Car Park or the Morgan Recreation Ground Car Park on Lower Broadmoor Road.
